Corporate Legal Advisor

Overview

This contract Corporate Lawyer role supports corporate, commercial, and M&A work for a remote team.

• Type: Contract
• Compensation: $90 - $150/hour
• Location: Remote
• Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze corporate, commercial, and M&A documents for accuracy and compliance with US law.
• Draft, review, and provide feedback on contracts and agreements, applying best practices in corporate law.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear explanations to support AI system development.
• Identify and summarize key legal issues and trends in business transactions.
• Contribute legal scenarios and document samples to enhance AI training datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify deliverables and address corporate law topics.

Requirements

• Minimum experience in corporate, business, or transactional law, including M&A and risk management.
• Experience as outside counsel, in-house corporate counsel, or legal consultant to business clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues.
