Overview
This role involves building strong relationships with in-house legal leaders to understand their goals and challenges, and demonstrating how tailored AI and workflow solutions can support their objectives. It is ideal for someone with experience as an in-house attorney who is ready to transition into a strategic, client-facing position focused on delivering advanced AI and workflow solutions to corporate legal departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key relationships with General Counsel, Chief Legal Officers, and Legal Operations leaders at Fortune 1000 companies.
- Lead customized product demonstrations aligned with specific in-house legal use cases, validating value through discovery and showcasing relevant workflow capabilities.
- Translate complex AI functionalities into clear, outcome-driven benefits that resonate with in-house legal stakeholders.
- Enhance market perception as a trusted and credible AI partner that helps legal teams work more efficiently.
- Conduct ongoing research on customers, competitors, and market trends to inform sales strategy and messaging.
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and upselling within existing accounts.
- Monitor workflow implementations and customer experience, providing periodic progress updates to client leadership in collaboration with product specialists.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of in-house legal experience at a Fortune 1000 company; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong fluency in AI and a deep understanding of its impact on legal workflows and operations.
- Executive presence with the ability to establish long-term relationships with key decision makers.
- Foundational knowledge of common in-house legal processes and challenges.
- Enterprise sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel at least 30%, potentially more, to visit clients and prospects on-site.
