Overview
An organization is seeking experienced corporate M&A attorneys for flexible contract and permanent opportunities. These roles support a range of law firm clients, including Am Law 100 firms and boutique firms nationwide. Prior experience in the corporate practice group of an AmLaw 200 firm is preferred.
Most engagements are fully remote and offer flexible schedules, ranging from part-time to full-time, allowing attorneys to perform high-level corporate work on their own terms.
Responsibilities
- Provide transactional and M&A support including due diligence, negotiating asset purchase agreements (APAs) and ancillary documents.
- Handle transactions across various industries.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of M&A experience.
- Strong, well-rounded transactional and M&A background.
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of residence.
- Outstanding academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Excellent professional references.

Compensation & Benefits
- Contract positions: Annualized pay ranges from $140,000 to $250,000+ (full-time equivalent).
- Permanent positions: Base salary ranges from $140,000 to $200,000.
- Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and credentials.
- Contract professionals are typically W2 employees and eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week.
- Benefits include Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), a qualified 401(k) plan, and stipends for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and professional expenses.
