Overview
The organization is seeking experienced corporate M&A attorneys for flexible contract opportunities with client law firms. Engagements may be short-term or permanent, depending on client needs.
Most assignments are fully remote and can be flexible in schedule (part-time to full-time) while still supporting high-level corporate work.
Responsibilities
- Provide corporate M&A transactional support, including:
- Conducting due diligence
- Negotiating APA terms and related ancillary documents
- Support transactions across a variety of industries
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of M&A experience
- Excellent analytical skills and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong, well-rounded transactional and M&A experience, including:
- Due diligence
- Negotiating APAs and ancillary documents
- Experience across multiple industries
- Licensed and in good standing in state of residence
- Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
- Outstanding professional references
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in the corporate practice group of an AmLaw 200 firm is preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Pay
- Contract (annualized on a full-time basis): $140,000 to $250,000+
- Permanent base salary: $140,000 to $200,000
- Pay determinations are based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, and credentials.

- Contract professionals are usually W2 employees of the organization and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week.
