Overview
A legal staffing organization is seeking corporate transactional attorneys with extensive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity experience. These attorneys will work on assignment with leading corporations across various industries. Prior experience at a large corporate law firm and/or in-house with a major company is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal expertise in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
- Support corporate clients on a contract basis
- Work remotely with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A and private equity
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of residence
- Prior experience at a large corporate law firm and/or in-house with a major company preferred
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized pay ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
- Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20 or more hours per week
- Benefits include complimentary Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance

- Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and professional expense stipends provided for benefits-eligible attorneys
