Corporate Paralegal (Remote Contract Engagement)

Overview

An organization is seeking experienced corporate paralegals for remote contract assignments supporting leading corporations across various industries. The role involves extensive work with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and corporate legal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file certificates of formation, bylaws, and operating agreements for legal entities
• Provide contract support for standard corporate agreements
• Create and distribute annual reports
• Assist with paperwork required by the SEC, IRS, UCC, and other regulatory bodies
• Respond to requests for information
• Perform legal research
• Maintain and file corporate records
• Assist with corporate transactions

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably within a large corporate law firm or a large corporate legal department
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate highly preferred
• Proven success supporting sophisticated law firm practice groups or corporate legal departments of major corporations
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized pay ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 or more on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market conditions, and candidate preferences
