Cyber, Privacy & Data Security Litigation Attorneys

Overview

A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking a mid to senior-level attorney to join its Cyber, Privacy and Data Security and Technology Litigation Group. This practice focuses on cutting-edge litigation involving novel legal issues, primarily related to data breach and technology litigation, including both direct and class action cases.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex litigation matters involving data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology
• Manage cases from inception with minimal supervision
• Provide superior client service throughout the litigation process

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience
• Focus on data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology litigation
• Law firm experience preferred
• Strong academic background
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPP/US certification
• Knowledge of state-level privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA
• Experience with data breach and cybersecurity class action litigation
• Experience with technology/errors and omissions litigation

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $275,000 annually, depending on experience and position level:
  • Associates: $100,000 - $150,000
  • Senior Counsel/Of Counsel: $140,000 - $200,000
  • Partners: $190,000 - $275,000
