Overview
A legal services organization is seeking a Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Lawyer to provide expert counsel to some of the world’s largest companies across various industries. This is an existing full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and counsel on privacy compliance requirements and identify opportunities to improve privacy policies.
- Work directly with business and compliance clients, offering guidance and practical solutions.
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders.
- Advise on privacy impact assessments, data-sharing, and related privacy issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the data privacy field.
- Substantive knowledge of data protection and privacy laws, including U.S. and EU statutes such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Experience standardizing policies, protocols, and training programs, including drafting and reviewing vendor and client contracts.
- Ability to provide guidance across various stakeholders, including business units, product development, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and procurement.
- Active bar license in the state of residence.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year.
- Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.

Location
- The position is open to candidates residing in states where they hold an active bar license.
