Overview
This role is for a Defense Trial Attorney (Remote) based in Boston, MA (Remote).
The organization is a civil litigation defense law firm. This position involves defending insurance-related matters in a growing Vermont practice.
Responsibilities
- Defend a variety of Insurance Defense matters, including:
- General Liability
- Personal Injury
- Product Liability
- Professional Liability
- Handle matters through key stages of litigation, including support for resolution through settlement/trial (independent work from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred).
Requirements
- 2 to 10+ years of relevant experience
- Juris Doctorate
- Experience with Insurance Defense
- Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda
- Preferred: ability to summarize depositions
- Preferred: ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial
Required Education & Licensure
- Active Vermont Bar License (Required)
- Active Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, or Rhode Island Bar License (Required)
- Trial experience (Required)
