Overview
This role involves serving as Employment and Litigation Counsel, providing legal guidance on employment law and commercial litigation matters. The position supports People Experience (PX) teams and cross-functional stakeholders, helping navigate complex legal issues while aligning with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will offer creative, solutions-driven advice in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise Americas PX professionals and business leaders on employment law topics including performance management, workplace investigations, discipline, leaves, accommodations, and employment agreements.
- Support management of global commercial and intellectual property litigation, pre-litigation disputes, subpoenas, and government inquiries, collaborating with external counsel as needed.
- Review and update Americas PX policies, guidelines, templates, and training materials to ensure alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize AI tools to efficiently deliver high-quality legal guidance to PX and other stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training on employment law, litigation best practices, and risk mitigation for cross-functional partners.
- Draft and review agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents related to employment and litigation functions.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in at least one US state bar.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in employment law and/or litigation, with at least two years of in-house experience preferred.
- Proven track record supporting employment law matters and commercial litigation.
- Experience with or strong interest in LATAM employment laws.
- Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with team members and partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a global SaaS, technology, or private equity-backed company.
- Fluency in Spanish or French.
- Creative and innovative problem-solving approach tailored to a global software company.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: USD $130,000 - $195,000 per year.
- Eligibility for participation in a corporate bonus program.

- Remote position based in Atlanta, GA.
- Travel expectations: 0-10%.
