Overview

A law firm with offices in San Diego, Carlsbad, and the Inland Empire is seeking Employment Litigation Attorneys licensed to practice in California. Candidates at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, are available.

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, an excellent academic record, proven writing, analytical, and research abilities, and be self-motivated to succeed in a fast-paced litigation environment. A commitment to superior client service is essential. While trial experience is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employment litigation matters within California
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of pleadings and motions
  • Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
  • Provide superior client service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong academic background
  • Proven skills in legal writing, analysis, and research
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation setting
  • Commitment to superior client service
  • Trial experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $275,000 annually, depending on experience and role:
    • Associates (1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
    • Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
    • Partners (7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
  • Compensation tailored based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market
