Employment & Labor Senior Attorney
Overview
A national law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices is seeking an Employment & Labor Of Counsel attorney for its Los Angeles office. This role offers a flexible hybrid or remote working arrangement and involves representing sophisticated clients in complex employment and labor legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Represent clients in a broad range of employment and labor claims
- Collaborate closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
- Handle court appearances and depositions regularly
- Communicate with clients and provide status updates
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in the State of California
- Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience
- Experience with wage and hour class action and PAGA representative matters
- Experience handling discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Legal project management experience
- Trial experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $190,000 to $230,000 USD
- Eligibility for discretionary bonuses
