Entry-Level Associate Attorney

Overview

This entry-level Associate Attorney position is for a recent (0–2 year) graduate from an accredited law school. The role involves actively assisting partners and working closely with clients across all phases of state and federal insurance coverage practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with policy analysis
• Conduct legal research
• Prepare and send client and case correspondence
• Review and analyze case files
• Draft memorandums and reports
• Participate in strategy discussions
• Assist with ADR and trial matters

Requirements

• Full-time; remote work
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• California (and/or Nevada, Colorado, Arizona) Bar Admission
• Excellent research, writing, analysis, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $110,000 to $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Compensation is based upon 1650 billable hours annually with automatic bonuses at each additional 50 hour increment.
• At the 1800 annual billable hours threshold, both automatic and discretionary bonuses are available.
