Experienced Foreclosure Paralegal - Remote

Overview

A fast-growing New York-based law firm specializing in real estate and default services is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join their expanding team. The firm provides legal services across seven states and values individuals who bring strong work ethic and eagerness to grow.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other related paperwork
• Perform e-filing with various court systems
• Record documents as required
• Maintain client and case files accurately
• Communicate with and provide updates to clients
• Manage filing and document systems
• Organize and maintain group calendars and adhere to legal deadlines
• Archive documents related to ongoing and completed litigations
• Prepare reports for attorneys

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related foreclosure experience
• Broad knowledge of real estate default services
• Experience with LPS, Caseaware, Tempo, or similar software is a plus
• Superior organizational, research, and writing skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Deadline-driven with ability to manage a heavy workload
• Comfortable and confident communicating by phone
• Ability to work well under pressure
