Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced brand protection counsel to assist in training a foundational AI language model focused on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks related to intellectual property law.
Responsibilities
- Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving:
- Trademark clearance and registrability opinions
- Office-action responses
- Copyright infringement and fair-use analyses
- Licensing and assignment agreement review
- Cease-and-desist correspondence
- Portfolio and docket tracking
Requirements
- Licensed attorney with 4+ years of experience practicing trademark and/or copyright law, either at a law firm or within an in-house intellectual property team
- Direct responsibility for drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions
- Expert-level skills in creating and managing documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail
Compensation & Commitment
- Hourly rate: $100
- Flexible commitment: 5-20 hours per week, with the possibility of more hours if desired
- Fully remote position with the ability to work on your own schedule
- Immediate start date available
