Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced copyright counsel to assist in training a cutting-edge language model focused on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. This role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated materials related to trademark and copyright workflows.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and provide opinions on trademark clearance and registrability
- Prepare office-action responses
- Conduct copyright infringement and fair-use analyses
- Review licensing and assignment agreements
- Draft cease-and-desist correspondence
- Manage portfolio and docket trackers
Requirements
- Licensed attorney with at least 4 years of experience practicing trademark and/or copyright law, either at a law firm or in-house intellectual property team
- Proven experience with drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions
- Expert-level skills in creating and refining documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
- Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail
Compensation & Commitment
- Hourly rate: $100
- Flexible commitment: 5-20 hours per week, with the option for additional hours
- Fully remote position with the ability to work on your own schedule
