Overview
A rapidly growing law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their modern, fully remote practice focused on family law. Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and representation in family law matters including divorce, legal separation, child custody, parenting time disputes, child support, spousal maintenance, post-decree modifications, settlement negotiations, mediation, court hearings, and litigation.
- Develop case strategies tailored to clients' unique circumstances and objectives.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, affidavits, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with accuracy and professionalism.
- Lead negotiations with opposing counsel and parties to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in family law and procedural changes.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure efficient case progression.
- Maintain accurate case management, documentation, and compliance with court rules, deadlines, and firm standards.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in family law, particularly in divorce, custody, and support cases.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic legal plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Proven track record of successful courtroom representation and negotiation skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills for maintaining client relationships and providing clear guidance.
- Familiarity with legal technology tools to enhance case management and client service.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000
