Overview
A legal team in Washington state is seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Law Attorney to join their remote workforce. The role focuses on family law matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and related issues. The position requires strong client advocacy, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage sensitive cases with empathy and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on family law issues
- Draft legal documents related to family law cases
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in Washington State
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing family law
- Strong knowledge of family law statutes, case law, and court procedures
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information professionally
- Compassionate and patient approach to client advocacy
