Overview
A legal team is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to provide strategic and client-focused legal counsel. This role involves guiding clients through their options, representing them in various legal settings, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective services.
Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful, strategic legal counsel tailored to each client's unique situation
- Guide clients through their options to empower informed decision-making
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective legal services
- Ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their case
- Contribute to team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and process improvements
Requirements
- Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience; Family Law and Washington state experience strongly preferred
- Experience with motions, mediation, collaborative law, and/or trial work preferred
- Familiarity with local court rules in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties or ability to quickly learn them
- Strong technical proficiency or ability to learn tools such as Dropbox, Adobe, Microsoft 365, Slack, Apple systems, and Clio
- Exceptional legal writing skills (writing sample required)

- Reliable internet and phone access for remote work
