Overview

A remote opportunity is available for a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience. This full-time, permanent position offers flexibility to work from home and focuses on family law matters including mediation, child support, negotiation, and related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence in criminal or civil litigation.
  • Select jurors, argue motions, meet with judges, and question witnesses during trials.
  • Study and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Present and summarize cases to judges and juries.
  • Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
  • Analyze probable case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments for case presentations.
  • Advise clients on business transactions, claim liability, litigation decisions, and legal rights and obligations.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing family law.
  • Strong expertise in mediation, child support, negotiation, and other family law aspects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with professionalism under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to represent clients with integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work independently in a remote setting.
  • Active membership in the state bar association.

Compensation & Benefits

Location

This is a remote position allowing the attorney to work from home.
