Overview
A national law firm is seeking a California-licensed litigation attorney with over 4 years of experience to join its Consumer Financial Services practice. This role involves defending national consumer financial services clients in complex litigation matters across state and federal courts.
Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse and challenging caseload involving mortgage litigation defense and other civil litigation matters.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to represent clients in state and federal courts.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Assume significant responsibilities from the outset with opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- Admission to the California Bar and in good standing is required.
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a focus on mortgage litigation defense.
- Experience litigating in both state and federal courts.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Admission to the Texas Bar is preferred but not required.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation matters.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $140,000 to $180,000 (applicable to candidates performing work in California).
- Salary offers are based on internal equity, market data, applicant skills, experience, and qualifications.
