Overview
The organization seeks a mid- to senior-level Litigation Associate and/or Senior Counsel to join the Consumer Financial Services practice. This role is remote, with work performed from upstate New York, the Hudson Valley, or Suffolk County.
This position involves partnering with clients and supervising attorneys to develop strategy, litigate, and resolve disputes involving defaulted commercial loans for traditional and non-traditional lenders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and supervising attorneys to develop litigation strategy
- Litigate and resolve disputes involving defaulted commercial loans
- Draft pleadings and dispositive motions
- Analyze and review loan-level documentation
- Draft workout resolution agreements
- Argue motions and handle court appearances
- Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis to support case development
Requirements
- Must be admitted to the NY Bar in good standing
- NJ Bar and/or PA Bar admissions in good standing are pluses
- Experience in financial services
- Contested foreclosure litigation experience required
- Experience representing creditors in bankruptcy matters is preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated $140,000 to $210,000
- The estimated salary range displayed is specifically for those applicants who will perform work in New Jersey if selected for the role and is not applicable to other locations.
- Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.
Location
Remote from upstate New York, the Hudson Valley, or Suffolk County.
