Overview
A national boutique defense litigation law firm is seeking a Florida-licensed attorney with at least 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury and premises liability. This is a permanent, full-time role fully remote, with court appearances as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence
- Handle all aspects of discovery
- Conduct efficient and competent legal research
- Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of litigation experience at a personal injury defense law firm
- Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Outstanding references
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant litigation experience handling written discovery, motion work, depositions, and court hearings
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $135,000 to $150,000
- Eligible for bonuses and equity compensation
