Overview

A legal staffing organization is seeking Florida-licensed litigation attorneys with extensive experience in complex commercial litigation for contract engagements with in-house and law firm clients. This remote role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work full-time, part-time, or anywhere in between.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and respond to discovery
  • Perform legal research and writing
  • Prepare legal pleadings, motions, and statements
  • Manage pretrial litigation tasks with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida
  • Minimum of 4 years of complex commercial litigation experience
  • Excellent pretrial skills
  • Strong legal research and writing abilities
  • Experience preparing pleadings, motions, and statements
  • Outstanding references
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Prior experience at a full-service AmLaw 200 firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
  • Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20 or more hours per week
  • Benefits include Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), and a qualified 401(k) plan
  • Eligible attorneys receive a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Professional Expense stipend
