Overview

A legal staffing organization is seeking Florida-licensed litigation attorneys with extensive experience in complex commercial litigation for contract engagements with in-house and law firm clients. The role requires strong pretrial skills, including conducting and responding to discovery, legal research and writing, and significant experience preparing legal pleadings, motions, and statements. Prior experience at a full-service AmLaw 200 firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex commercial litigation matters with minimal supervision
  • Conduct and respond to discovery
  • Perform legal research and draft legal pleadings, motions, and statements
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams as needed

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida
  • Minimum of 4 years of complex commercial litigation experience
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Outstanding professional references
  • Prior experience at a full-service AmLaw 200 firm or sophisticated litigation boutique preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
  • Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20 or more hours per week
  • Benefits include Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), a qualified 401(k) plan, and stipends for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and professional expenses
