Funds Attorney (Private Equity Experience)

Overview

A leading private investment platform is seeking a part-time attorney to support its CLO and private fund operations team. This role involves working directly with senior leadership to handle routine fund-level executions, review and negotiate commercial agreements, and support private equity and private credit fund structures.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine fund-level executions
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements
• Support private equity and private credit fund structures
• Independently manage contract review and process-driven execution work

Requirements

• At least five years of experience with strong private fund fundamentals
• Experience reviewing subscription documents and investor materials
• Ability to work independently in contract review and execution
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, email-heavy environment with clear escalation judgment
• Collaborative, low-ego working style

Compensation & Work Schedule

• Part-time, fully remote position
• 10–20 hours per week
• Hourly rate between $110 and $115, based on qualifications, skillset, experience, client needs, and project requirements
• Project starts ASAP and is ongoing
