Overview
This role is for a General Litigation Defense Attorney (permanent, full-time) in a fully remote position. Candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and/or New York.
The position involves managing a general litigation defense caseload, handling court appearances and depositions, and working closely with other attorneys and partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage a general litigation caseload
- Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
- Handle court appearances, depositions, and examinations under oath
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Requirements
- 2+ years of general litigation defense experience
- Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Superior written and oral advocacy skills
- Licensed to practice and in good standing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and/or New York
- J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
- Outstanding references
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000
- Pay is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
