Overview
This role involves providing strategic privacy advice and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations within a dynamic digital business environment. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to embed privacy-by-design principles and translate regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to provide strategic privacy guidance.
- Embed privacy-by-design principles in product development and workflows.
- Identify privacy risks and opportunities proactively to shape privacy-compliant tools and features.
- Manage all privacy-related legal work, including drafting and reviewing data processing agreements (DPAs), privacy policies, legitimate interest assessments (LIAs), and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
- Conduct internal and external privacy audits.
- Oversee relationships with external privacy consultants and legal advisors, coordinating inputs across business functions.
- Monitor evolving privacy regulations, case law, and best practices, and communicate relevant insights internally.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from £85,797 annually in London and €66,065 elsewhere in Europe for early-career candidates.
- For candidates with considerable relevant experience, salaries range from £112,189 to £250,512 in London and €107,837 to €188,848 elsewhere in Europe.
- Compensation varies by location and expected impact and grows with experience and contribution.
