Overview
A nationally recognized law firm with nearly 250 attorneys across California, Oregon, and Washington, D.C., is seeking a health care attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience and an interest in health care law. The firm serves public agencies, businesses, and individuals, providing solutions to complex legal issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on a broad range of health care matters including regulatory and compliance issues, reimbursement, operations, health information privacy and security, Medi-Cal managed care, provider and vendor contracting, payer-provider disputes, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Litigate health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance disputes, including arbitration and court proceedings.
- Advise health care clients primarily consisting of health plans and hospitals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
- Knowledge and experience in health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters.
- Admission to practice law in California is required.
- Admission to the Nevada bar or willingness to take the Nevada bar exam is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with public agency clients.
- Familiarity with health care regulatory matters related to public health care providers and Medi-Cal.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $127,500 - $185,000, depending on years of practice and experience.

- Offices located throughout California, Oregon, and Washington, D.C.
