A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking attorneys experienced in litigation on behalf of health insurers. The focus includes defending life, health, disability, and payor-provider litigation, class actions, state statutory claims, ERISA litigation, and insurance bad faith cases. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience litigating health insurance issues. This role involves handling complex litigation in both state and federal courts and offers opportunities for professional development.
Candidates must be self-starters capable of managing their own litigation, formulating and implementing discovery plans including taking and defending depositions, evaluating potential insurance liability exposures, preparing case assessments and evaluations, and managing multiple matters while consistently producing high-quality work. Strong academic credentials, proven writing and research skills, and litigation experience are required.
