Overview
An early-stage, fully remote company specializing in healthcare subrogation is seeking a Healthcare Subrogation Litigation Attorney to support its growing team. The organization assists health insurers, employers, and public companies in recovering unpaid healthcare claims by pursuing liable third parties.
Responsibilities
- Draft complaints, motions, and responses
- Coordinate with opposing and outside counsel
- Assess, vet, and develop claims
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare subrogation litigation
- Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent professional references
Position Details
- Role type: Contract/Engagement
- Schedule: Full-time (~40 hours per week)
- Location: Remote
Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized pay range: $160,000 to $200,000 (full-time equivalent)
- Pay for contract roles depends on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preference
- Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
- Benefits include Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), a qualified 401(k) plan, CLE and Professional Expense stipends
