Overview
A legal technology startup is seeking experienced family law attorneys to join their team on a contract basis for up to 10 hours per week. The role involves serving as counsel for customers by reviewing prenuptial agreements generated on a digital platform.
Responsibilities
- Review prenuptial agreements on the digital platform
- Identify and flag important clauses, providing comments to clients
- Review and respond to comments from opposing counsel
- Ensure clients understand the terms of the prenuptial agreement and answer any questions they may have
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a family law attorney
- Deep understanding of and experience with prenuptial agreements
- Strong communication skills with responsiveness and clarity
- Customer-centric mindset
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of Illinois
- Must carry own Professional Liability Insurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to represent clients in multiple languages
