Overview
This role involves delivering high-touch immigration case management for VIP, high-priority, and escalated matters while enhancing team capabilities through training, knowledge management, and process improvements within assigned jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex, sensitive, and escalated immigration cases with urgency and precision, serving as a primary drafting and case support resource for VIP clients while maintaining accuracy and quality under tight deadlines.
- Support training and onboarding of paralegals and specialists through structured coaching, live guidance, and practical feedback that reinforces drafting standards and role-specific best practices.
- Maintain and improve internal knowledge resources including templates, SOPs, checklists, and FAQs, ensuring content reflects current legal and procedural requirements across assigned jurisdictions.
- Contribute subject matter expertise to the development of AI-assisted workflows and internal tools by identifying inefficiencies and translating legal requirements into scalable, repeatable processes.
- Uphold quality and risk standards by reviewing work product, flagging procedural inconsistencies and case risks, and modeling strong judgment and operational discipline across the team.
- Monitor regulatory and policy changes within assigned jurisdictions, escalate compliance concerns, and convert legal updates into practical day-to-day guidance for the broader team.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Ideally a law degree or similar field, or paralegal qualification.
- Strong knowledge of key immigration categories.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to find solutions under pressure.
- Demonstrated people management and mentorship skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate immigration policies and processes effectively.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and technology-enabled workflows in a legal, immigration, or similarly regulated environment to support quality, efficiency, and process innovation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range reflects gross base salary or On-Target Earnings (OTE) for commercial roles with commission eligibility, quoted in USD as a global reference.
