Overview

A growing legal team is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal & Legal Writer to manage complex employment-based immigration cases. This role involves drafting visa petitions, writing persuasive legal documents, and collaborating across teams to improve workflows and legal technology platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare visa petitions and applications, including H-1B, L-1A, TN, E-2, O-1A, O-1B, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW.
  • Write clear, compelling legal documents that effectively present each client’s case.
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys and legal staff to enhance case templates, protocols, and internal resources.
  • Manage multiple cases and projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve legal technology tools.
  • Develop scalable and repeatable systems to simplify complex legal processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on talent visa cases, especially O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW petitions.
  • Strong writing skills with an interest in combining legal expertise and storytelling.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Proactive mindset toward improving systems and processes.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in environments that require strategic thinking and navigating ambiguous legal areas.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design teams.
