Overview
This role is for an Independent Attorney working remotely on a contract basis. The position involves applying legal expertise to help train and improve AI systems by evaluating AI-generated contract negotiation outputs. No prior AI experience is required.
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Compensation: $80 - $105 per hour
Responsibilities
- Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to assess AI-generated contract suggestions for accuracy, risk, and legal soundness.
- Review AI responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback to enhance model performance.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
- Identify inconsistencies or gaps in AI-generated contract drafts and recommend corrections aligned with legal standards.
- Deliver high-quality legal input to improve the reliability of AI systems used in contract drafting and negotiation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract drafting, review, or negotiation within a legal or corporate setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess legal risks and implications in contract-related matters.
- Familiarity with SaaS contracts, technology transactions, and legal data annotation practices.
- Ability to evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated outputs without prior AI experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate legal reasoning and feedback.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay ranging from $80 to $105
