Overview

A civil litigation firm specializing in construction defect and general liability defense is seeking a fully remote Litigation Attorney. The firm represents businesses, insurers, and professionals in complex disputes across multiple practice areas, with a focus on construction and liability defense. The role involves managing a consistent monthly billable target while handling cases from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction defect and general liability litigation matters from start to finish
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and prepare for trial
  • Develop case strategy and maintain client communication
  • Meet litigation deadlines and manage case workflow
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case handling and reporting

Requirements

  • Active license in good standing with a U.S. state bar
  • Experience in construction defect and general liability litigation
  • Strong skills in motion practice, depositions, and discovery
  • Ability to independently manage a full caseload in a remote work environment
  • Excellent written communication, organizational, and case management skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranging from $125,000 to $200,000 depending on experience
  • Monthly production bonus
  • 100% employer-paid Kaiser health insurance after 90 days
  • 401(k) plan with 3% profit sharing after 1 year
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO)
