Investment Funds Attorney (Remote)

Overview

This contract role is for an Investment Funds Attorney working remotely from any location. The position offers an hourly rate between $80 and $105.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise fund documentation such as offering documents, limited partnership agreements, and side letters.
• Provide legal advice on fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and investor relations.
• Collaborate with fund managers, compliance teams, and external counsel to resolve legal and operational issues.
• Conduct due diligence on fund investments and evaluate legal risks related to fund transactions.
• Stay informed on evolving regulations impacting investment funds and private equity.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a U.S. state bar association.
• At least 3 years of experience in investment funds, private equity, or a related legal field.
• Strong skills in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fund formation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Compensation & Benefits
