A growing legal team is seeking a Junior Attorney with 0–3 years of experience to handle criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation matters in Iowa. This is a remote-first position based in Cedar Rapids, with local court appearances required as needed. The role offers hands-on mentorship and training from experienced attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and gradually take ownership of cases in criminal, family, and civil law
- Attend court with guidance and support
- Draft pleadings and communicate with clients
- Develop litigation skills and grow into independent case management
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in Iowa or awaiting bar exam results
- Interest in litigation within criminal, family, or civil law
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Good communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and workload
- Compensation tied to chosen billable target
