Overview
A growing labor and employment law firm is seeking a fully remote Entry-Level Attorney / First-Year Associate on a contract-to-hire basis. This position is open to candidates licensed and residing in California.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and services in labor and employment law matters
- Assist with workers' compensation cases
- Collaborate with the legal team on various employment law issues
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California (CA Bar license required)
- Resident of California
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Interest in employment law and/or workers' compensation
- Willingness to work on a 3-month contract before potential conversion to a permanent role
Preferred Qualifications
- First-year attorney or entry-level associate experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $40 - $45 per hour
