Junior Paralegal, Contracts

Overview

This role supports the North America Contracts team (US and Canada) within a legal services organization focused on private capital.

As a Junior Paralegal, you will rotate across or specialize within one of three practice areas depending on your strengths and interests. Work includes supporting attorneys on high-volume, time-sensitive contract and investment-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Support lawyers with first-round markups of investment-related NDAs and commercial contracts
• Manage document lifecycles, track deadlines, communicate with counterparties, and assist with execution
• Work closely with lawyers and senior paralegals to support high-quality client delivery across fast-moving, high-volume matters
• Build commercial and legal expertise over time, including opportunities to take ownership of client accounts

Requirements

• 0–1+ years of experience (internship experience) with a bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent is preferred
• Prior exposure to NDAs is a plus but not required
• Eagerness to learn and grow; motivated and curious about developing expertise in legal practice (e.g., compliance, contracts, or funds)
• Organized and efficient: able to prioritize, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
• Strong communication skills; able to write and speak clearly and professionally
• Self-starter who can take initiative, work independently when needed, and proactively flag issues
• Team player who collaborates effectively with lawyers, senior paralegals, and client-facing teams in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation package includes a market-competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, exceptional benefits, and—where applicable—commissions plans.

Expected cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role:

• $57,012 - $81,099 in Hamilton, NJ and Dallas, TX (hourly rate $27.41 - $38.99)
• $63,731 - $90,640 in Seattle, WA (hourly rate $30.64 - $43.58)
• $53,664 - $76,328 in Sandy, UT (hourly rate $25.80 - $45.78)

Annualized salary is based on an estimated 40 hour hours per week before overtime.

Final offers may vary from the listed amounts based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.
