Overview

An organization is seeking experienced labor and employment attorneys to work on assignment with leading corporations across various industries. This role involves counseling employers on a comprehensive range of federal, state, and local employment laws, including litigation, wage and hour compliance, employment agreements, collective bargaining disputes, and unlawful discrimination claims.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel on labor and employment matters
  • Handle litigation and compliance related to wage and hour laws
  • Draft and review employment agreements
  • Manage collective bargaining disputes
  • Address claims of unlawful discrimination

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a labor and employment attorney in a large law firm or corporate legal department
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of residence
  • Outstanding professional references

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the labor and employment practice group of an AmLaw 200 firm, a specialized labor and employment boutique firm, or a large corporate legal department

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference
  • Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20 or more hours per week
  • Benefits include complimentary Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
