Overview
This fully remote role is for Labor & Employment specialists to support a growing national practice. The employer is seeking senior attorneys who advise clients on labor & employment compliance, best practices, and litigation, while managing direct client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on municipal, state, and federal labor & employment laws.
- Prepare companies for financing rounds, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings from the labor & employment lens.
- Represent clients in early-stage litigation matters, including:
- discrimination
- harassment
- wrongful termination
- retaliation
- disability accommodation
- wage-and-hour violations
- Provide legal guidance to clients with national labor and employment needs.
- Support business development efforts by connecting existing client needs and leveraging professional networks.
Requirements
- At least seven (7) years of experience at a national or regional law firm.
- Graduation from a top-tier law school or the ability to demonstrate an excellent and sustained reputation in the industry.
- Interest in autonomy over your own practice while collaborating with attorneys across corporate, intellectual property, and litigation practice groups.
- Prepared to demonstrate a significant transferrable book of originations for lateral partnership consideration.
- If you have less than that, counsel positions are available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience advising local clients that have national labor and employment needs.
- A strong professional network and readiness to grow a practice through business development and connections to existing client needs.
