Overview
An immediate opening is available for an Attorney in the Westchester office of a full-service AmLaw 100 firm with strong national and local practices. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of general liability litigation experience, with Construction Law and New York State Labor Law (Sections 200, 240, 241) experience considered a significant plus.
Candidates must possess solid knowledge of applicable law, including counseling and litigation, an excellent academic background, and proven skills in writing, analysis, and research. The role requires a self-starter capable of managing cases from inception with minimal supervision. A commitment to superior client service is essential. Trial experience is preferred but not required.
Candidates must be licensed to practice in at least one of the following jurisdictions: New York. Additional admissions in Connecticut or New Jersey are a plus.

Responsibilities
- Manage general liability litigation cases, including counseling and litigation tasks
- Handle cases independently from inception with minimal supervision
- Provide superior client service
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting
- Participate in trial proceedings as needed (trial experience preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of general liability litigation experience
- Experience with Construction Law and NYS Labor Law Sections 200, 240, 241 is a significant plus
- Licensed to practice law in New York; additional admissions in Connecticut or New Jersey preferred
- Strong academic background
- Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $275,000 annually, depending on experience and role level:
- Associates (1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
- Compensation is tailored based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market
