Lead Paralegal

Overview

This role involves leading paralegal responsibilities by managing attorney relationships, client communications, and ensuring the smooth progression of cases from sign-up to resolution. The lead paralegal will act as the primary point of contact for both law firms and clients, coordinating with the broader Legal Operations team to maintain efficient case flow and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the organization, attorneys, and clients
• Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout treatment and the case lifecycle
• Provide detailed case status reports and updates to attorneys and law firms
• Collaborate with case managers, intake specialists, and demand reviewers to coordinate case progress
• Identify and resolve delays or issues before they impact case outcomes

Team

The Legal Operations team is responsible for delivering precise, speedy, and caring outcomes for law firm partners and their injured clients. The team consists of experienced legal operators supported by advanced technology to serve clients effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury or high-volume plaintiff work
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in communication
• Ability to build trust quickly with attorneys and clients
• Understanding of the importance of client experience and case velocity
• Availability to work Pacific Time (PST) hours to support client needs

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary range: $85,000 – $125,000 plus equity
