Overview
A rapidly growing legal tech startup is seeking a Lead Paralegal with over 10 years of experience to manage a high volume of personal injury cases. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can oversee case progress from start to finish. The ideal candidate will also manage relationships with multiple partner law firms and help build and refine operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for 8-12 partner law firms, handling all communications and case updates.
- Manage a caseload of 120-220+ active pre-litigation personal injury cases simultaneously.
- Oversee and direct a team of case managers supporting various case-related tasks such as medical records retrieval and police report collection.
- Conduct daily case reviews, triage, and prioritization to ensure deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.
- Prepare and review demand packages, ensuring quality and accuracy before submission to partner attorneys.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multiple law firms and managing complex workflows.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 - $125,000 annually.
- Equity: 400 shares.
