Legal Consultant - Energy / Oil & Gas

Overview

A legal consulting opportunity is available for professionals with expertise in the energy, oil, and gas sector. The role involves collaborating closely with legal and business teams of Fortune 500 clients to support internal stakeholders in achieving company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and commercially tailored legal advice on a broad range of energy and oil & gas matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on various agreements related to bids and tenders, new market entries, project financing, EPC contracts, and other operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and maintain updated documentation on regulatory requirements.
• Manage and resolve complex joint-venture obligations to protect the company’s interests and mitigate potential claims and risks.

Requirements

• Ideally, 4+ years of experience within the energy, oil & gas sector, gained either in private practice or in-house.
