Overview
An opportunity is available for experienced legal professionals specializing in financial markets, derivatives, and regulatory frameworks to work with Fortune 500 clients based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Lead master documentation negotiations, including ISDA agreements, ensuring precise and accurate documentation throughout the process.
- Provide expertise on financial markets, derivatives, and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on power and carbon emissions trading (specialization preferred but not required).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for counterparties during negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline negotiation processes and enhance efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel, counterparties, and other key stakeholders to support successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Legal professional with 4-8+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) focused on financial markets, derivatives, and regulatory frameworks.
- Comprehensive experience with ISDA documentation.
- Preferably specialized in power and carbon emissions trading, though this is not mandatory.
