Overview
A leading legal services provider is seeking mid-senior legal counsels with a strong background in commercial and consumer law. This role offers access to high-quality legal work with flexibility over workload and work style.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support across commercial law matters
- Handle issues related to consumer law, intellectual property, digital commerce, and/or data privacy
- Collaborate effectively with multiple teams to solve problems proactively
- Analyze legal and commercial risks and propose business-oriented solutions
- Influence internal and external stakeholders effectively
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) within a top-tier private practice or a large in-house legal team
- Strong technical expertise in commercial law with exposure to consumer law, intellectual property, digital commerce, and/or data privacy
- Experience in FMCG, retail, consumer, or digital product/commerce industries is advantageous
- Excellent analytical, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to quickly understand business requirements and deliver results
- Strong team player with a service-oriented attitude
- Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice law in Australia
