Overview
This position provides tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, typically at the Director or Vice President level. Focus areas include PBM contracting and support of account management functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, including PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, administrative support functions, or other areas as assigned
- Conduct legal research, drafting, and transactional work to support legal matters, with a focus on client-facing contracting and support of account management functions
- Advise internal clients on compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies; develop and facilitate legal training and investigate issues as needed
- Provide client training on legal principles
- Coordinate partnerships with in-house and outside legal resources as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Juris doctor degree
- Current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PBMs, pharmacies and/or health benefit insurers
Compensation & Benefits
Potential pay for this position ranges from $124,000.00 - $211,000.00, based on experience and skills.
