Overview
This role involves supporting and advising on cross-border acquisitions, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and partnering with product teams on global launches. The position requires providing practical legal advice across various business functions, managing disputes and litigation internationally, and building scalable legal tools integrated with AI workflows. Monitoring legal and regulatory developments to proactively address business needs is also a key responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Support Accounting, Finance, and Business Acquisitions teams on cross-border acquisitions, including due diligence, transaction document analysis and drafting, and post-completion integrations.
- Draft and negotiate cross-border commercial contracts such as confidentiality, consulting, licensing, SaaS, and other technology-related agreements.
- Collaborate with product teams on global launches by drafting external communications, legal terms, and policies, utilizing AI to enhance efficiency.
- Provide practical legal advice and risk mitigation strategies on technology, product, marketing, commercial, regulatory, intellectual property, consumer protection, and AI governance matters.
- Manage disputes and litigation in the US and abroad, coordinating with external advisers and aligning with business functions.
- Develop and maintain scalable legal tools, including forms and playbooks, integrating AI-powered workflows.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and address evolving business requirements.

- Competitive salary with typical annual compensation for candidates with limited experience at $204,281 (US-based).
- For candidates with exceptional potential and achievements, compensation ranges from $257,642 to $522,120, varying by location and expected impact.

Location
- Initial onboarding requires spending most days in the Milan office for the first few months to facilitate rapid integration and cultural immersion.
